Directions to Mount Bohemia. Mount Bohemia is located in Upper Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula near Lac La Belle (approximately 39 miles north of Houghton/Hancock). Take US-41 North out of Hancock. Drive approximately 35 miles to Lac La Belle Rd. Turn right and continue 4 miles to the Mountain.It does take some effort to get to Mt. Bohemia(8-9 hour drive from Chicago), but it is every bit worth it. There are nice little cabins about 30 minutes away called Mariner North and was pretty inexpensive. I would recommend Mt.
